Job Purpose

Project Manager (PM) is a key member of the Project Team, responsible for the successful implementation of a variety of project initiatives. These initiatives may vary in scale and complexity and may cover all aspects of project delivery from Discovery and Assessment to Implementation and Go-live, including multi-phase or multi-workstream delivery.

The PM focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, working closely with both internal development teams and delivery teams, while fostering strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Major Activities

- Project coordination: Gather requirements on specific applications within project scope; Write clear and detailed plans, including methods to gather and analyze participant feedback, functional specifications, and feature prioritization
- Project monitoring & control: Monitor overall project/program progress; Anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions where necessary

Outcomes/Measures:
- Detailed plans with clear objectives, activities, and deliverables for each milestone; Strong collaboration between project team and relevant units to ensure smooth execution
- Key project milestones completed on time with high quality

Requirements

1. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, banking, computer science, information technology, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience

2. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise
- Demonstrated ability to manage delivery of 1 to 3 projects simultaneously through structured execution and routines
- Demonstrated ability to manage project accounting and artifacts including status reporting, project plans, etc.
- Ability to execute projects aligned with critical business milestones while supporting/enabling an Agile delivery process
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery (Agile Practitioner / Scrum Master / PMP certification is a plus)
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools

3. Skills
- Ability to demonstrate independent leadership, judgment, and decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities, remaining flexible and open in ambiguous environments
- Ability to create and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at peer levels
- Strong analytical thinking with a logical and structured problem-solving approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to spin up and drive project or transformation engagements, including stakeholder relationship development
- Project initiation, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to support business case creation and work effectively with executive sponsors
- Customer/stakeholder management up to senior levels within large organizations
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (PMP, Agile, Scrum or internal methods)
- Change management and risk management capabilities

4. Relevant Experience
- Understanding of IT systems, digital transformation, or technology-enabled initiatives
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in IT or technology environments
- Experience in delivering complex, multi-phase or cross-functional projects (e.g. system implementation, platform deployment, or transformation initiatives)
