Product Owner - IT Corp

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of the IT strategic plan in collaboration with business units.
• Work with business units to analyze requirements and provide detailed information to management regarding products related to IT initiatives and strategies.
• Manage the product development/enhancement backlog in alignment with the IT strategy.
• Identify initiatives, conduct sprint planning, monitor and coordinate the implementation of assigned initiatives within the IT strategy; ensure proper tracking of implementation progress and outcomes.
• Manage the assigned Agile team.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to team members within the Agile team.
• Conduct market research on product features and industry trends.
• Consolidate and propose IT solutions applicable to initiatives from business units.
• Report on the progress of IT initiative implementation.
• Coordinate and resolve issues arising during the implementation process.

Qualifications:

1/ Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Coqmputer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study: or equivalent education, training & experience

2/ Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise

• Experience in a particular banking domain for at least 3 years
• Understand and catch-up quickly with various business processes/rules or new products in banking domain
• Understand how to write a BRD/SRS for Banking Products/processes
• Know-how various systems in banking domain (such as Core, Card, Data, Digital Banking, Payment, etc...) should work

3/ Key Skills

• Responsible, Proactive and Ethical about secure Banking Data
• Negotiation skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to explain to business and get business buy-in why it's more efficient to adapt business process to fit best practice or application capabilities then customize the application
• Has organizational skills sufficient to ensure that business requests delivered to IT will be completed with good quality, on time, and with planned efforts.

4/ Relevant Experience

• Banking Domain experience
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Can communicate in English (mandatory)

5/ Required Competencies

• 3 years of experience in a compatible position, product management or business analysis
