JOB PURPOSE
To Ensure any changes of the bank's IT system are Controlling and assessing CR's impact risks when going live. This is the final control point to ensure CR golive complies with regulations and limits impact risks to improve IT service quality.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
1. Update the lists of CRs registered to golive each release’s period to plan the review and evaluation of CRs accordingly
2. Review the completeness and validity of CR’s procedural documents, assess the impact of CR before approving golive
3. Participate in CAB meeting and meetings to evaluate the impact of CR on units
4. Participate the incident and CR golive fail review meetings to find the root cause and lessonlearnt for next CR. Promote and review the completion of reporter and SO procedures before closing CR on the system
5. Participate in contributing ideas for improvenments related to golive CR management and approval
6. Share working experiences among team members to draw lesson and improve work efficiency
7. Other tasks
- Study and understand the architecture and business processes of systems such as T24, Way4, DWH, AML, Neo App, and NeoBiz
- Receive, review, assess, and approve exceptional system access requests (PIM request approval support)
OUTCOMES/ MEASURES
- Do not miss any CRs from units registered for golive in each release period
- On average, each release period receives about 20 CRs from assigned units
- Analyze and evaluate the impact of CRs on Customers, Business Units, and IT systems when deploying to the Production environment, in accordance with VPBank Change Management process
- Implement golive approval for eligible CRs, ensuring minimal negative impacts and incidents caused by changes
- Summarize and assess golive activities for each period and develop lessons learned from golive failures or incidents
- Clarify risks and impacts of CRs and require units to define mitigation measures and prevention plans, or recommend stopping golive if risks are not properly addressed
- Ensure all changes strictly follow defined processes
- Coordinate with Change Advisory Board (CAB) members on the approval process
- Conduct root cause analysis meetings for incidents caused by CRs
- Ensure 100% of CRs have sufficient supporting evidence uploaded before being closed in the Jira system
- Contribute to process and tool improvements to enhance service quality
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions on working methods, experiences, and skills
- Enhance professional knowledge to improve work quality and reduce incidents or failures caused by CRs
- Ensure compliance with all processes and regulations before making any changes to the production environment
CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Banking, Information Technology, or related fields; ITIL certification is preferred
2. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise
- Always take the initiative to improve knowledge and be a team player
- Knowledge of Banking & Finance operations, Information Technology, or Risk Management
- Having Knowledge of IT products, services & applications in Finance – Banking, especially systems such as T24, Way4, OCB, NEObiz, DWH,..etc
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and CMDB is an advantage
3. Skills
- Good communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English is prefered
- Good communication, problem-solving, and management skills
- Can work as an individual or as a team member, under stressful conditions, good teamwork attitude.- Responsible, proactive, and professional attitude
- Skilled in reporting, training, and presentations
4. Relevant Experience
- Total 6 to 8 years of experience and at least 5 years of experience in one of the following fields: change management, software development management, quality management (QA)
- Working experience in the IT department of the financial and banking industry
