Overview of GPBank
On January 17, 2025, GPBank will transition its operating model to become a wholly-owned limited liability bank under VPBank. JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for managing and developing card management products and features, including debit, credit, and prepaid cards. Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with the bank’s strategy and customer needs.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- Define and manage product backlog for core banking modules;
- Prioritize backlog based on business value, risk, and system dependencies;
- Work closely with BAs, Developers, QA, and DevOps to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Participate in Agile events (Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective, etc.);
- Support development team in clarifying business logic and addressing issues;
- Communicate effectively with business units, testing teams, operations, and implementation partners;
- Act as a focal point for product requirements and feedback;
- Monitor implementation process and evaluate post-release effectiveness.
1. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study: or equivalent education, training & experience.
2. Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, with a focus on card systems or payments;
- Familiar with card lifecycle, EMV, ISO8583, switch systems, and card scheme rules;
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups;
- Capable of translating business requirements into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documents;
- Strong coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams (business, technology, QA, DevOps);
- Proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Visio, or equivalent for documentation and collaboration;
- Certifications such as PSPO I/II, CBAP, SAFe POPM, or PMI-ACP are advantageous;
- Experience with card management systems like OpenWay, HPS, BPC, TSYS, etc.
3. Skills:
- Ability in English reading and writing (mandatory), and speaking, listening (preferable);
- Teamwork, careful, attention to detail, logical thinking;
- Effective communication with technical and business teams;
- Communication, negotiation, and problem solving.
4. Relevant Experience:
- Banking domain experiences;
- Agile/Scrum experiences.
