Project Manager (PM) is a key member of IT-PMO, be responsible for the successful implementation of IT Projects in VPBank. PM focus will be on delivering the project(s) on time and within budget, working closely with our internal development and delivery teams, as well as fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
PM acts as the crucial point of contact, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring that IT projects meet objectives and stakeholders’ expectations. PM role contributes to efficient project execution, alignment with organizational goals, and successful project outcomes.
- Define the scope, objectives, and success criteria of the project
- Develop detailed plans for each stage of the project, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Assign task, ensure team members work efficiently and collaborate effectively
- Monitor costs and ensure the project stays within the approved budget.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively
- Track project progress to ensure timely milestone completion.
- Identify potential risks and plan for mitigation.
- Take measures to minimize risks and address issues as they arise
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates.
- Report progress, results, and project-related issues to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables and services meet quality standards.
- Assess and manage change requests within the project
- Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards
- Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to improve future projects.
1. Trình độ Học vấn / Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Kiến thức/ Chuyên môn
- Minimum of 5 years working as Project Manager in software development and software implementation
- Experience in a particular banking domain for at least 3 years;
- PMP certification is preferred.

- Understand business needs
- Understanding of IT fields and its process as well as their interrelation with business
- Have experience in the banking applications and processes, e.g. Core banking, Digital Banking, or others back office applications.
- Have experience on integration between multi applications in the bank: T24, Way4, ERP…
- Understand software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Good understanding in project management methodology: Agile/ Scrum/ Waterfall
